A medium bodied red with silky yet structured tannins, Barbera is the everyday drinking wine of the Piedmontese. This is a truly versatile food wine with racy acidity yet enough body to stand up to a variety of rich foods. Sour cherry, dried herbs, and sweet rhubarb comprise the palate.
